  A co-founder of the business, John has over 35 years experience in providing the very best in quality and service to the produce Industry. J.E. Russell Produce has been built on a foundation of very strong relationships with all customer accounts as well as some of the finest Grower/Shippers of fruit and vegetables throughout the world. John enjoys the daily action of buying and selling on the warehouse floor and manages the company berry program. In addition to operating the business, John has served on various boards and advisory committees. His contributions to the industry were recognized in 2001 with the Ontario Produce Marketing Board’s “Produce Man Of The Year” Award. Contact John

• Tom Meschino – Vice-President & General Manager

  With over 30 years experience, Tom’s vast knowledge of Produce and the retail industry makes him a key asset to the success of the company. In addition to his management duties Tom provides strong leadership in all areas of procurement, sales and distribution with particular expertise in Tropical Fruit (Pineapples, Mangos, Avocados, Limes). • Peter Meschino – Sales & Marketing Manager

  Peter joined the company in 1978 and his 31 years of experience continues to serve the industry well. Peter's very strong personal skills combined with extensive product knowledge has made him a recognized industry leader in sales and marketing. He is also responsible for the procurement and sales of various products including the company’s extensive mushroom offerings. • Mohammad Nazari – Purchasing & Sales Manager

  Mohammed is an integral part of the daily operations. In addition to his sales and purchasing duties he is responsible for the supply chain management of the company’s value added salad programs as well as logistics and customs for all purchases and imports.   The newest addition to our management team, Robert Tupling, is a Chartered Accountant with several years experience with owner managed businesses. He brings with him the technical knowledge to ensure the company is compliant in financial dealings and has the leadership and drive to direct the finance team in providing valued added information throughout the organization.   Duarte speaks fluent Portuguese and has 13 years experience with the company. He is a relative newcomer to the marketing team but has quickly emerged as an accomplished salesman.
